Danao Lake

Danao Lake

The Danao Lake is a perfect spot to end the trip in Aningalan. The place is so serene and the summer breeze is relaxing. The lake has never been emptied eventhough the place experienced prolonged drought. You can rent a bamboo raft for as low as 20.00 per person to explore and maybe feed the Tilapias that inhabited the place. There is also a 5.00 entrance fee which directly goes to the caretaker who lived in the place for the longest time. The place is still raw and untouched. The LGU is slowly developing the site for easy access and convenience of the tourists. The water is muddy. It may not suitable for swimming but you can immerse your feet in its cold water. This place is conducive for picnics and outdoor activities.
